Traditional Cosmopolitan Cocktail

This Traditional Cosmopolitan Cocktail is a great impressive cocktail to make at home for yourself, or your guests.

You can serve it in a martini glass (which I recommend) or in a margarita, wine, or cocktail glass if that’s all you have. Some people even like to serve cosmo cocktails over ice. It’s not traditional, but who would really complain when a cocktail is this yummy?!

Traditional Cosmopolitan Cocktail

Made famous buy Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha, this popular cocktail made some waves when Sex and the City first came out.

No matter if you’re new to drinking it, or have a relationship with the cocktail that precedes the popular show. I know you will love this traditional recipe!

Cosmo Drink Garnishes

Garnishes are not always necessary, but when you put this much effort into a drink, I find them extra fun to add. You have lots to choose from too, so have fun and try a new one each week.

  • Lime wedge
  • Lemon twist
  • Orange ring
  • Sugar Rim
  • Fresh cranberries (I like to skewer them with a toothpick like olives)
